The Center City Pantry is a food store with an adjacent café that features freshly brewed La Colombe coffee, wine, snacks, and more. It’s a busy retail location inside the lobby of the upscale Marriott Hotel in Center City Philadelphia. Because the space is inherently dark (since it’s inside a building and has no windows to the outside), the client did not want to enclose it even more with an opaque wall.

Vetrina Windows designed and manufactured a custom aluminum storefront consisting of a curtain wall module and a Millennium Plus 70 exterior entrance door. The resulting design feels airy, welcoming, and transparent, making the retail space essentially part of the hotel lobby, while providing a secure enclosed space for the business.
